I signed up for tutoring with Janine when I worked at our subsidiary  in the US as an expat. I thought Janine's tutoring would improve my  English and help me better understand the US culture, particularly  business culture, due to her ESL teaching experience and background in  the technology space. Before starting the first session, she asked me what my role in the company was and what I needed to perform my tasks. She then developed a customized  Learning Plan that was tailored for me.  Because of this individual attention, the sessions were very  productive and valuable. We studied current business topics from  Business English textbooks and TedTalks. My English improved, my business vocabulary/idioms increased, and I better understood many  of the finer points of the U.S. business environment.
